Mackie MCU Pro

If you connect a MCU Pro with USB, it is recognized automatically. Make sure you have LrControl 3.0 or newer and the controller is configured to use the MC protocol.

Mackie MCU Extender Pro

If you connect need even more controls, you can add one or more extenders.

MC Mode

If you have a controller that is compatible with the MCU-Pro, you can select MC mode in the LrControl settings in LrControl 3.0 and newer.

Many controllers have this MC mode, you usually have to setup the device to use MC mode. Check the manual of your control to find out if it has MC mode and how to enabled it.

Tool Mode

When you use the Graduated Filter tool, the Radial Filter tool or the Adjustment Brush, the faders control the tool parameters. Start with selecting the tool and click in the image to position it. LrControl will automatically detect tool mode and adjust the faders.

Assigning More Functions

To assign functions to your controller, just click the Customize button and follow the instructions. When asked to move a control input, move sliders or rotate knobs steadily and for about 20% of their range or more.

Function Details

Most functions are tied directly to a Lightroom parameter or function. But some have a function specific for the LrControl plug-in.
